Softball Opportunities Through RBI
The MLB Nike RBI tournament play is a competitive structure where affiliated teams compete in Sectional and eight Regional tournaments to advance to the annual RBI World Series. For softball, it features Girls' Softball (14-18). The tournaments focuses on providing opportunities for youth in diverse communities to compete and showcase their talent.
The Softball Elite Development Invitational is a national, invitation-based event featuring 64 of the top athletes across the country. All travel, lodging, meals, and uniforms are covered. Top 32 athletes advance to the Breakthrough Series.
An invitation-only experience for elite athletes identified through EDI. This program provides advanced exposure and development at the highest level of the RBI system.
Our RBI Journey
In 2024, athletes within our program competed in Nike RBI under a previous organizational structure and advanced to the regional championship, ultimately earning a trip to the RBI World Series.
That experience solidified the impact and opportunity that RBI provides for softball athletes.
Beginning in the 2026 season, Student Athletics Foundation will officially operate as a Nike RBI affiliate organization, bringing this national platform directly to athletes within Royals Elite and surrounding communities.
