Coach Jarrell Williams

Welcome to the community where potential meets guidance under the leadership of Jarrell Williams, the Founder and CEO of the Student Athletics Foundation and the Co-Founder of Royals Elite Athletics. Located in the heart of the Chicago Southland area, Jarrell has dedicated his career to nurturing young talent both on the playing field and in life.

A decorated athlete himself, Jarrell's journey in sports began with the Midcrest Panthers Football & Cheer organization. He then attended Harold L. Richards High School, where he excelled as a football player, achieving 1st Team All-State honors and ranking among the nation's top defensive backs. He carried this to Northwestern University on a full scholarship. Here, Jarrell stood out not only for his athletic skills but also for his academic achievements and commitment to the community, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors and the Evanston Community Volunteer Award.

It was during this period at Northwestern that Jarrell faced personal trials, deepening his understanding of the pressures faced by student-athletes. This experience helped formalize his mission: to ensure no young athlete feels unsupported as they navigate the complexities of sports and life.

Under Jarrell's leadership, the Student Athletics Foundation and Royals Elite Athletics has not only succeeded in the competitive landscape, securing multiple tournament championships, but has also achieved a 100% college placement rate for student-athletes aspiring to play at the collegiate level. 

His coaching achievements extended to his role as the Head Girl's Track & Field Coach at Munster High School in 2023, where he led the team to numerous championships, broke several school records, and celebrated the success of athletes who earned All-State honors in 4 events and one who secured a scholarship to Ball State. During the 2023 football season, as the defensive backs and wide receivers coach at Chicago Christian, Jarrell help lead his team to win the IHSA 2A State Championship in his first year. He also serves as the new Head Boys Track & Field Coach at Chicago Christian.

Jarrell's philosophy, "embrace opportunity," reflects his belief in the transformative power of sports to teach valuable life lessons. Through his leadership, Royals Elite Athletics and the Student Athletics Foundation have become sanctuaries for young athletes to grow, compete, and succeed.
