Coach Angela Williams is a cornerstone of the Royals Elite Athletics as a Co-Founder and a foundation of excellence in the softball coaching community. With roots in the Chicago suburbs and a remarkable high school career at Homewood-Flossmoor, she transitioned into a collegiate athlete, playing as a preferred walk-on at Northern Illinois University before leaving after earning a full scholarship to Reinhardt University. Angela's versatility shown as she played multiple positions and contributed to consecutive conference championships, conference-tournament championships, NAIA top 25 rankings, while her academic excellence earned her AAC All-Academic Honors and recognition as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
Angela's coaching career began at Richards High School, where she quickly made a significant impact, leading the team to regional and sectional championships. After a taking off a year to coach at her high school alma mater at Homewood Flossmoor, she returned to Richards, bringing her insightful experience and expertise into her seventh year. Angela's dedication to fostering young talent is evident in her strategic coaching approach, which focuses on developing not just athletes, but well-rounded individuals who excel both on the field and in the classroom.
In her educational background, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies with a minor in Business and an M.A. in Teaching for K-6. Angela's life, intertwined with the game, from her earlier years through her impressive collegiate and coaching tenure, stands as a testament to her love and commitment to the sport of softball.
Coach Julian attended Seton Academy, a private high school in South Holland, IL, where he went on to be a member of the National Honors Society, a Four-Year Varsity baseball star, an All- Area and All-Conference player, and Top-recruited baseball player of the 2008 Graduating class.

Julian went on to play college baseball at St. Joseph's College (NCAA-D2) and Calumet College of St. Joseph (NAIA), where he posted a .324 Batting Avg., was tied for first place in Stolen bases in his Senior season and was awarded the Most Valuable Player award. In 2013, Julian was the first Black man, in Calumet College history, to graduate from the Education program with an Elementary Education degree with a Science Endorsement for Secondary Education.
Shortly after college, Julian signed his first of three, professional baseball contracts with the Fort Worth Cats of the United League where he posted a .324 Batting Average and played alongside "Batting title champion" Julio Franco in 2014. In 2015, Julian signed a contract to play for the Ellensburg Bulls of the Mt. Rainier League, prior to the league folding only weeks into the season. In 2016, Julian played in the Puerto Rico Winter league, where he was fourth in the league, posting a .488 batting avg. In 2016, Julian signed his third contract with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers of the United Shores Professional Baseball league but was later released. Julian received International offers from the Top Baseball Leagues in Germany, France, Austria, and several leagues in Australia, but decided to end his pursuit of Professional baseball in 2016.
He is, now, the owner of Juiced Up Athletics Corporation and is a Popular Baseball and Softball instructor in the Chicagoland/NW Indiana area. Lastly, Julian uses his experiences to do public speaking and mentoring around the Chicagoland/ Northwest Indiana area.
Coach Kacyee played high school softball locally at Lincoln-Way East. As the starting pitcher and hitter at the varsity level for 3 consecutive years, she assisted LWE to a 2012 conference championship during her senior season. In addition to pitching, she was utilized as a middle infielder and utility player through her travel ball caree

As the starting pitcher and hitter at the varsity level for 3 consecutive years, she assisted LWE to a 2012 conference championship during her senior season. In addition to pitching, she was utilized as a middle infielder and utility player through her travel ball career. Continuing her softball career at Western Illinois University, Kacyee was the starting pitcher all four years for the WIU Leathernecks. Despite focusing on pitching alone during her junior and sophomore year, she returned to the plate in her final season hitting .375.
Dr. Michael G. Ward began his academic journey at Fisk University, initially drawn to the broad field of health sciences. His interest in primary care and sports-related health issues deepened during his undergraduate studies, guiding him to a career in family medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Michael G. Ward began his academic journey at Fisk University, initially drawn to the broad field of health sciences. His interest in primary care and sports-related health issues deepened during his undergraduate studies, guiding him to a career in family medicine and sports medicine.
Dr. Ward pursued his medical degree at Chicago Medical School, followed by a residency in family medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. His commitment to integrating primary care with sports medicine led him to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. This specialized training equipped him with unique expertise in managing sports injuries, joint pain, and orthopedic issues without surgical intervention.
Currently practicing at Komprehensive PC, Sports & Musculoskeletal Medicine SC in Homewood, IL, Dr. Ward is board certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is known for his holistic approach to patient care, focusing on prevention and treatment of conditions ranging from hypertension and diabetes to sports injuries and joint pain. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he serves a diverse patient population.
Dr. Ward maintains affiliations with Advocate South Suburban Hospital and is actively involved in community health initiatives. His practice addresses a wide array of clinical interests including pediatric wellness, asthma management, and men’s health, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to all life stages.
Dedicated to his patients’ overall well-being, Dr. Ward values the importance of education in his consultations, empowering his patients to make informed health choices towards achieving their best possible quality of life.

Dr. Taylor began her college career with the goal of working in the mental health field and studied Psychology at Roosevelt University. It was during her college matriculation, Dr. Taylor realized how important the mind body connection was and decided to shift gears. Desiring to find a profession in which she could provide care for a multitude of conditions, from physical or emotional pain, without medication, the chiropractic field resonated with her.
Dr. Taylor continued and completed her education at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL with a Doctor of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor she is a strong believer that health is about balance and keeps this at the forefront working with individual patients. She loves the opportunity of sitting down and working with patients to provide pain relief, as well as overall wellness.
